Based on a purely Lebanese satiric and sarcastic tone of voice, Sandwich W Noss has over the years gained a wide popularity in Lebanon, both on social media channels and on ground. Through real-time marketing and a bold tone of voice, this QSR was able to position itself as the people’s brand.

 

 

 

THE LEBANESE ELECTIONS CAMPAIGN

While the Lebanese crisis is still hitting hard, the elections are coming and the people have had enough of all the political parties. While poking fun at politicians and their cheesy taglines, we created our own elections with our very own parties, the kind that an entire population can agree on.

 

During the Lebanese crisis, the brand, like many others, had been facing some heat from its followers. Coincidentally, the restaurant wanted to launch a brand new Mexican sandwich. We thought we’d take advantage of the “drama” and address it through a satiric video based on an old Mexican soap opera, widely known for their overly dramatic storylines. We re-recorded over it with a formal Arabic accent, with a script that included all of the comments that we’ve been receiving.

 

NEW MENU LAUNCH

 

When restaurants announce a new menu, it usually means one thing: some popular classic items are removed and someone is bound to be disappointed. At SWN, we like to keep the communication honest and try to please everyone. The new menu launch campaign was simply about keeping the classics and bringing in the new, without breaking any hearts. 

 

 

The entire look and feel of the campaign is a mix of vintage and new. That’s why we decided to bring back the most efficient and entertaining selling trend of the 90s: Our own teleshopping show! With a locally renowned standup comedian, we created a silly and “cheap” series of our host simply selling the items.
